Movacolor challenges stormy weather for first piling new building

5-10-2017 - Code orange didn't withhold Movacolor, developer and producer of high-quality dosing systems for the plastics industry, to hit the first pile for its new building. Under the supervision of staff and invitees, the act was conducted by General Manager Gerhard Dersjant and Governor of Economic Affairs of the municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân Maarten Offinga.

Movacolor challenges stormy weather for first piling new building

"Stormy weather fits Movacolor a little", says Offinga in his speech. "With occasionally a spash of water on our heads, this characterizes the company and shows with how much enthusiasm everybody has been working on this project over the past period." He also realized Movacolor had outgrown their building, but he wanted to keep this type of company, the smart manufacturing industry, in Sneek. The new location on the Wolkammersstraat is therefore three times bigger, sufficient for the healthy growth and development that the company is experiencing.

Dersjant enthusiastically adds that Movacolor is pleased with "one of Sneek's most beautiful spots" thanks to the pleasant cooperation with the municipality, KAT Architecten and Bouwgroep Noord. "Next year around this time we will work in a beautiful and inspiring building, which we can all be proud of," thus Dersjant said.
